Two students arrested for vehicle theft in Bhopal

Bhopal, Feb 11 (PTI) City police has arrested twostudents in connection with theft of vehicles and recoveredfrom them seven motorcycles and two-wheelers stolen fromdifferent parts of the city, police said today.

A 12 bore gun was also recovered from the possession ofthe two accused, both in their teens, who were arrestedyesterday, they said.

The duo, who hailed from Kurwai in the neighbouringVidisha district and were living in the Budhwara locality inthe city, were identified as Ashu (19), a class 12 student,and Gufran (18), who was studying in the 11th class, policesaid.

The two had taken to lifting vehicles as the money thatthey received from their parents did not appear to besufficient for their needs, they added.
