OliveSmart VS300 Android tablet: Specs & Review

New Delhi, Feb 11: Olive Telecom, India's leading Convergence Solutions Device Developer with presence in mobile phones, tablets, netbooks etc, has announced the launch of a smartphone/tablet named as OliveSmart V-S300.

The features and specifications of OliveSmart V-S300 will definitely surprise you. It can compete with any other international brands that controll the current tablet market. The surprising feature is its Android operating system. It boasts a Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, (Yes, Samsung Galaxy Tab available in Indian market has Android 2.2 Froyo!)

OliveSmart V-S300 has a 4.1-inch multi-touch capacitive touch-screen that makes it handy and at the same time offers maximum multi-media entertainment. This smartphone-tablet is powered with 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 processor and Adreno 205 graphics engine.

OliveSmart V-S300 also offers a 5 megapixel camera with flash and auto-focus and a VGA at front for video calling. Other features include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 3G HSPA.

It is expected that OliveSmart V-S300 will launch in Indian market by the second quarter. The expected price of OliveSmart V-S300 is Rs 20,000.
