"Perhaps post-Mumbai period can be laid to rest": Omar

Jammu, Feb 11 (PTI) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omarhas said resumption of the dialogue process between India andPakistan will help build trust and perhaps "lay to restpost-Mumbai (26/11) period".

"For me, the news of the day is the resumption ofdialogue with Pakistan. Perhaps, the post-Mumbai period can belaid to rest and trust built", Omar said in his post onTwitter.

He said in Re-tweet "thank goodness good sense hasreturned to the Indo Pak discourse. Let''s hope they stay thecourse this time".

India had yesterday announced that Foreign and HomeSecretaries of the two countries will hold talks oncounter-terrorism and a host of other bilateral issues,including the progress on 26/11 trial in a Rawalpindi court,ahead of the Pakistan Foreign Minister''s visit to India inJuly.
