Hundreds of children participate in Narkanda ski championship

Narkanda , Feb 11(ANI): Hundreds of children participated in a skiing Championship on Thursday.

The championship was organised by the mountaineering institute in Narkanda on the occasion of it's Golden Jubilee.

The director of the mountaineering institute, Randhir Singh Salhuria, said, "The event has been designed as Golden Jubilee Ski Cup for juniors to encourage skiing, particularly among the youths in the state."

The participants were very enthusiastic about the Chmapionship.

Abhuday Chauhan, a participant said , Last year I have participated in local championship and this year I am participating in this open championship. It is very important for me and it is very adventurous".(ANI)
