CUB reports Rs 57.70 crore net profit
Chennai, Feb 10 (PTI): Private sector lender City UnionBank reported net profit at Rs 57.70 crore up by 41 per centfor the third quarter ending December 31, 2010 compared toRs 40.65 crore in the year ago period.
For the nine months ending Dec 31,2010 the net profit ofthe Kumbakonam-based Bank grew to Rs 163.65 crore from Rs117.95 crore registered in the same period of previous year.
The total income for the third quarter ending December 31,2010 stood at Rs 349.28 crore from Rs 278.58 crore registeredduring the same period of previous year.
For the nine months period ending December 31, 2010 thetotal income of the bank rose to Rs 721.10 crore from Rs635.58 crore, it said.
