At least 20 Pakistani soldiers killed in suicide attack

PESHAWAR, PAKISTAN: At least 20 Pakistani soldiers were killed and another 20 were injured during a suicide attack by a school boy at an army facility located in the northwestern region of the country, officials said Thursday.

Pakistan's Inter Services Public Relations confirmed that a young school boy dressed in school uniform entered the Punjab Regimental Center, which is located in Mardan, Pakistan, within the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and blew himself up as troops were carrying out routine exercises and parade.

The injured were rushed to local hospitals, but no further information was available as authorities investigate the incident.
