Google Translate iPhone app reaches App Store

California, Feb 9: The Android maker Google has announced the availability of the official Google Translate for Apple iPhones. Google Translate app is available for download from the App Store.

The new Google Translate iPhone app has new additional features than the web app that improve the overall translation experience. This new app will support iPhone, iPod touch iOS version 3 or later.

The features on Google Translate app include the ability to view dictionary results for single words, access your starred translations and translation history even when offline, and support romanized text like Pinyin and Romaji.

New features on Google Translate app for iPhone:
* Speak to translate - The new app accepts voice input for 15 languages and users can translate a word or phrase into one of more than 50 languages.
* Listen to translations - Users can listen to translations spoken out loud in one of 23 different languages
* Full-screen mode - This app has the ability to easily enlarge the translated text to full-screen size that make it easier to read the text on the screen.
