J&K, POK trade goods worth Rs 4.70 cr along LoC
Poonch, Feb 8 (PTI) Goods worth over Rs 4.70 crore weretraded between Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir(PoK) along the Line of Control at Chakan-Da-Bagh Crossingpoint in Poonch district today, officials said.
As many as 25 trucks rolled out from Trade FacilitationCentre (TFC) at Ranger in Poonch district of J&K to POK today,they said adding these trucks carried bags of coconut, redChilli and embroidery items worth Rs 1,78,52,457.
From POK, as many as 25 trucks carrying bags ofAlmond, dates, Pista, peshawari sandals and embroidery itemscrossed to this side and these were worth Rs 2,92,01,184.
The officials from both the side monitored thetransportation of these goods at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing pointtwice during the day from 1200 hrs to 1230 hrs and 1700 hrs to1730 hrs respectively, they said.
