JK govt sanctions Rs 17.75 lakh as ex-gratia relief
Srinagar, Feb 9 (PTI) Jammu and Kashmir government hassanctioned Rs 17.75 lakh as ex-gratia relief in ninemilitancy-affected cases in Baramulla district.
The ex-gratia relief was sanctioned at a meeting ofDistrict Level Coordination Committee which met under thechairmanship of District Magistrate yesterday, an officialspokesman said.
Out of the total amount, Rs six lakh were sanctionedin favour of six death cases, Rs. 11 lakh in favour of twoproperty damages and Rs 75,000 in favour of one injured case.
He said decisions on eight cases were deferred whilesix other cases were referred for re-verification.
