Jindal varsity, Carleton join hands to aid higher learning
New Delhi, Feb 8 (PTI) Students in India and Canadawould soon have a first hand experience of the growing impactof globalisation in higher education, courtesy a dealconcluded between Carleton University of Canada and theHaryana-based O P Jindal Global University.
President and Vice Chancellor of Carleton UniversityRoseann O''Reilly Runte today visited the Sonipat-based JindalGlobal University (JGU) to sign a memorandum of understandingwhich would be a launch pad for various exchange programmesbetween the two institutions of higher learning.
The MoU envisages both universities exchangingstudents and faculty in the near future and to collaboratethrough conferences and research on leading aspects ofglobalization such as business innovation, technology, trade,international affairs and law - the impact of digital media onleading policy issues and others.
