Forest guard abducted by Maoists
Hazaribagh (Bihar), Feb 8 (PTI) A forest guard and hisdriver were abducted by armed Maoists from Dodia village ofthe district for refusing to pay extortion, police said today.
About twenty Maoists went to the village and took awayforest guard Sheo Bachan Lal, his driver and three otherstowards Gaya, Superintendent of Police Pankaj Kamboj told PTI.
Later, they let off the three.
The Maoists had abducted them as they refused to payextortion for launching a road work under the MG-NREGA projectin the village, Kamboj said.
The CRPF and police of Hazariabgh and Gaya districtshave launched intensive combing operations to locate them. PTICORR PVR NIKDESK
