Centre takes steps for tribals'' benefit in Rajasthan

Udaipur, Feb 8 (PTI) The Centre today said several stepshave been initiated for the benefit of tribals in Rajasthan.

"Tribal-dominated Dungarpur and Banswara districts willbe linked by broad guage railway line to the rest of the stateand a central fund of Rs 1,200 crore has already beensanctioned for the purpose," Union Minister of State forTribal Affairs M S Khandela said.

The minister, who was on a day visit to the lake city,said the government is ensuring that the tribals, who have notyet received authority papers of their land, get the landrights documents soon.
