3-day International Conference in Kozhikode
Kozhikode, Feb 8 (PTI) A three-day international conferenceon Communications and Signal Processing would be organised bythe Electronics and Communication Engineering Department ofNational Institute of Technology, Calicut, (NITC) here fromFebruary 10 to 12.
The major objective of the conference was to pursue theprogression from the theoretical aspects of innovativecommunication and signal processing techniques through to theimplementation, evaluation and performance enhancement ofpractical communication systems, NITC Director E Gopinathantold reporters here today.
It was also planned to be a forum for preseniting researchoutcomes of topics ranging from those of the physical layer tothe application layer through all aspects of protocols andprocesses required to utilise the full potential offered bythe current and the emerging networking infrastructure, hesaid.
The conference would bring together academic scientists ,leading engineers, industry researchers and scholar studentsto exchange and share their experiences and research resultsabout all aspects of communications and signal processing, anddiscuss the practical challenges and the possible solutions,he said.
The conference has around 150 registered participants,including 11 delegates from abroad, he said.
