Youths held for killing friend

New Delhi, Feb 7 (PTI) Three youths, including a degreestudent, were arrested in the capital for allegedly killingtheir friend after a minor argument, police said today.

Dharmender Choudhary (22), Sandip Kumar (19) and AtulPandit (20) were arrested for allegedly killing their friendSalim recently, a senior police official said.

"One of his friends with whom he was seen was zeroeddown. From his examination and other corroboration, concreteleads were developed. Armed with intelligence, raids wereconducted to apprehended the suspects," the official said.

"The trio told us that after an altercation amongthemselves, they forcibly took Salim in the car of Atul andtook him to Sahibadad, where they killed him by inflictinginjuries with knife and screwdriver, and dumped the body inFarukh Nagar," he said, adding that all the three accused werearrested from Shahdara.

Choudhary runs a dairy and is pursuing a BA coursethrough correspondence, while Sandip is a school drop out andAtul an unemployed.
