Will seek mandate for development, says Sukhbir
Jhaneri, Feb 7 (PTI) Punjab Deputy Chief Minister SukhbirSingh Badal today said the SAD-BJP combine government wouldseek mandate from "vigilant electorate" for continuation ofdevelopment in the state.
"They (electorate) prefer to vote for those governmentswhich rise above petty political considerations for the sakeof development," he said.
The electorate were becoming educated and aware about theneed for continuation of development, he added.
Badal lashed out at former chief minister Amarinder Singhfor his vendetta politics, saying Amarinder was oblivious ofdevelopment at the grassroot level.
Earlier addressing a public rally here, the deputy chiefminister said that 125 schools would be opened in the state inthe first phase of the Adarsh School programme.
