Wanted man arrested

Berhampur (Orissa), Feb 8 (PTI) A person allegedlyinvolved in 31 different criminal cases, including twounsuccessful attempts on the life of Congress MLA Ramesh Jena,was arrested, police said.

The accused identified as Sunil Behera, who wasarrested from Sorada area yesterday, was forwarded to thecourt today.�

Besides allegations of attempt to murder, firing,bombing, dacoity, Sunil Behera was also allegedly involvementin unsuccessful attempts on the life of Jena at Patapur onAugust 10 and near New Bus Stand area last year, police said.

Sunil, however, managed to get bail in 24 cases.

Police was desperately trying to arrest him since last oneyear in connection with other cases including attempt onJena.� He was arrested from Surada area, police said.
