Truck set on fire after young couple killed in mishap

Nagpur, Feb 8 (PTI) A young couple was killed in a roadmishap in Hudkeshwar area here prompting an angry mob to setthe killer truck on fire, police said today.

Naresh Pisaram Samrith (35) and his wife Kavita along withtheir six-year-old daughter Hrydei were hit by a truck neartraffic outpost in Hudkeshwar main road last night around 11pm. The couple recieved serious injuries and died instantly,they said.

The girl however escaped as she was thrown when the truckhit the two wheeler. A mob soon gathered and about 10-15persons set ablaze the killer truck.

Police have registered offences under relevant sectionsagainst the driver and also against the unidentified personsin the mob.
