Three held for girl''s rape

Mumbai, Feb 7 (PTI) Police have arrested three persons- a pre-primary school teacher, a peon and watchman - inconnection with the alleged rape of a four-year-old girl here.

According to the police, the mother of the victim hasalleged that Telam Singh (55) raped her daughter inside theschool''s toilet on Saturday, while the teacher and peon triedto hide the incident though the girl had complained to them.

The victim is a junior KG student. The watchman isemployed with the school in suburban Vakola for the past 35years.

The arrested were made yesterday.
