Take effective action against offenders: Gehlot to officials

Jaipur, Feb 8 (PTI) Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlothas directed the officials of police, transport, tourism andforest departments to work in coordination to take action incurbing illegal activities.

In a review meeting last night, Gehlot directed them toensure proper implementation of the government''s action planagainst crime, an official said today.

The chief minister also asked the officials to work incoordination for controlling offences by land, liquor mafias,touts and other criminals.

Among those who attended the meeting were state HomeMinister Shanti Dhariwal, Tourism Minister Bina Kak, TransportMinister B K Sharma.
