Six killed as jeep rams into stationery truck in Guj

Kutch (Guj), Feb 8 (PTI) Six persons were today killedand as many injured when a jeep crammed into a stationarytruck from the rear in Mundra taluka here, police said.

The incident occurred on the Bhadreshwar-Hatadi roadwhere the jeep carrying passengers dashed into the truck,parked by the roadside, due to thick fog and poor visibility,they said.

Three persons died on the spot while three others died inthe hospital during treatment. The injured are being treatedin a nearby government hospital.

A case has been registered and investigations areunderway.
