School girl raped

Bundi, Feb 7 (PTI) A teenaged girl was allegedly raped byher school mate, when she was guarding her field at Chota Uganvillage of the district, police said today.

The victim, who is a class 9 student approached theNainwa police station in the district, with her brother thisafternoon and lodged an FIR against the accused.

Additional SP N L Pavan told PTI the 14-year-old girlwas allegedly raped by a class 10 student of her school onSunday afternoon.

"The victim and the accused study in 9th and 10thstandard in the same school," Pavan said and added that theaccused forcibly took the girl in a nearby field and raped herthere.

Station House Officer (SHO), Nainwa police station KelashChand said that police has lodged a case against the accusedfollowing the medical test of the victim.

The accused is still at large, however, police teams havebeen sent for search, the SHO said.
