Gaya, Feb 7 (PTI) Unidentified gunmen looted Rs 90,000from a woman in front of the Mufassil police station inBihar''s Gaya town today, Senior Superintendent of Police AmitLodha said.
Baleshwar Kanu, a resident of Dehuri village in Gayadistrict, drew Rs 1.50 lakh from a local SBI branch for themarriage of her daughter and later gave his wife Rs 90,000 togo for shopping, keeping the rest with himself, Lodha said.
As the woman carrying the money in a bag reached near theMufassil police station, two persons snatched the bag from herat gun-point and fled, he said.
Raids were on in the area to apprehend the looters, Lodhaadded.
