One killed, 15 injured in separate road accidents

Berhampur (Orissa),�Feb 8 (PTI) One person was killedand 15 others were injured in separate road mishaps in Ganjamdistrict today, police said.

N.Krishan Reddy (37) of Naranapur village was killedand three others injured when a mini-bus hit him after itstyres burst at Naranapur, about 15 km from here. The victimswere standing on the road side when the accident took place.

The villagers erected a road blockade for severalhours demanding compensation. The blockade was lifted afterpolice intervention.

Similarly�12 other persons were injured when a trekkeroverturned near Balipada village in the outskirts of the town.

The injured persons were admitted at MKCG Medical College andHospital here, sources said.
