Mercury dips after rains lash Rajasthan
Jaipur, Feb 8 (PTI) Mercury dipped in parts of thedesert state of Rajasthan after the region was lashed byrains.
Sriganganagar recorded a minimum temperature of 6.6degrees Celsius, ten notches less than yesterday''s low of 16.5degrees C, according to MeT department here today.
Night temperatures ranged between 9.2 degrees Celsiusto 17.3 degrees Celsius at other places in the state.
Last night, Churu and Sikar recorded 2 mm rainfall,while Pilani and Jaipur received 1 mm and 0.7 mm of rainrespectively.
Ajmer and Jodhpur also received some rainfall lastnight.
Rain and thundershowers may occur at isolated placesin western parts of the state today also, according to a MeTforecast.
