Iron pipes stolen from truck in Noida

Noida, Feb 7 (PTI) A case of robbery involving theftof iron pipes from a truck was today registered in a policestation here in Sector 39.

The incident occurred at Mahamaya Flyover last nightwhen driver Sher Singh alighted at a lonely stretch inBisrakh, police said.

Bisrakh Police had sent him to Noida saying that thespot where the theft took place falls under the jurisdictionof Noida police.

Later, police stations at Sector 39 and 49 disputedover jurisdiction areas for registering the case. The matterwas sort out after senior police officers intervened and thecase was registered at Sector 39.
