Court refuses bail to alleged spy

Mumbai, Feb 8 (PTI) A local court today rejected the bailapplication of alleged Pakistani agent Javed Mozawala who wasarrested for entering restricted areas of defenceestablishments here and taking photographs.

The court, while rejecting his application, observed thatinvestigation in the case was still going on.

Mozawala, a resident of Mazgaon in south Mumbai, wasarrested on December 8 last year for allegedly spying forPakistan, and was booked under the Official Secrets Act.

According to the Crime Branch, Mozawala was also inpossession of a manual of communication and tactics, meant forIslamic terror organisations, besides photographs of vitaldefence installations.
