Ajit Pawar should resign for comments against media: Munde
Osmanabad(Maha), Feb 7 (PTI) Reacting against the allegedstatement against journalists by Ajit Pawar, senior BJP leaderGopinath Munde today said the Maharashtra Deputy ChiefMinister should resign as NCP leader Chhagan Bhujbal hadearlier resigned from the post for similar comments.
"When the then Deputy Chief Minister Chhagan Bhujbal gaveobjectionable statements against media, NCP supreme SharadPawar directed him to resign, but now when Ajit Pawar has madederogatory remarks against media, he is not given such orders.
This is discrimination on behalf of Sharad Pawar," Mundealleged.
Ajit is Pawar''s nephew so he had been spared, he claimed.
Munde further said that no one can stop the functioningof media in a democratic country like India and Ajit''s standwas wrong.
He also asked Sharad Pawar to intervene in the matter.
