Sony Ericsson Xperia Play @ 2011 MWC: Specs

San Francisco, Feb 7: Finally, Sony Ericsson has announced the relaese date of their Android PlayStation phone, known as Xperia Play smartphone. According to Sony Ericsson's Facebook page, Xperia Play will be launched on Feb 13 at 2011 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

The new Xperia Play is made for the damn PlayStation game lovers. This smartphone will give access to PlayStation Suite. It has dedicated gaming keys and control console that makes it an exclusive gaming phone. Sony Ericsson Xperia Play will run on Google Android 2.3 Ginergerbread OS powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and Adreno 205 GPU.

Xperia Play offers 4 inch touchscreen, a 5-megapixel camera at rear that is capable of capturing HD video. Other features include WiFi, Bluetooth and 512 MB RAM. Sony Ericsson has posted a new ad video for the launch of Xperia Play smartphone.
