Police looking for man missing since wife''s death

Mumbai, Feb 6, (PTI) The Kandivali police in the suburbanMumbai are searching for a man who has been missing sincemorning after his wife''s body was found lying in mysteriouscircumstances in his house.

The police, though, have not yet ascertained the cause ofthe woman''s death suspect that there could be some foul play.

The deceased Sheena (25), a resident of a chawl locatedat KD compound in Kandivali used to stay with her husbandHafizul Mulla who is a labourer, police said.

This morning Sheena''s neighbour had come to his house tomeet Mulla when he found Sheena lying on the bed. Theneighbour reported to the police after suspecting somethingfishy since Sheena was not moving and did not respond to anything, police said.

Mulla and Sheena had come to Mumbai looking for workfrom their native place in West Bengal.

The police further said that Sheena was taken toBhagwati hospital for post mortem and there were no externalinjuries on her. The police also said that they are not sureabout the cause of death and have not registered a case ofmurder.

Police while looking out for Mulla have registered acase of accidental death and are waiting for the autopsyresults.
