Women arrested with 20 kg hashish

New Delhi, Feb 6 (PTI) The Narcotics Control Bureautoday arrested a woman for allegedly carrying and transporting20 kilograms of hashish.

The agency''s sleuths intercepted the woman atSriniwaspuri here and later arrested her after the contraband,worth Rs 20 lakh in the international market, was foundconcealed in her luggage.

The woman received the consignment from herbrother-in- law based in Jammu and Kashmir and allegedlytrying to sell the hashish to suppliers in the nationalcapital and NCR, sources said.

The arrested, identified as Alka Vats (30), has beensent to judicial custody by a special narcotics court here,they said.
