TEA welcomes TN interim budget

Coimbatore, Feb 5 (PTI) Tirupur Exporters'' Association(TEA) welcomed Tamil Nadu interim budget presented by thestate finance minister, Prof. K. Anbazhagan today.

In a release, TEA President, A Shaktivel appreciated theallocation of Rs.1,525 crore for tax concession for promotionof industries and also formation of a skill developmentsociety to provide employable skills training to the educatedunemployed youth as a part of state skill development mission.

The allocation for development of road will be muchhelpful for transportation of goods at reduced time, he saidand lauded the proposal to reduce the transmission anddistribution losses in power supply to less than 10 per centby the year 2013 under the restructured accelerated powerdevelopment programme.
