RJD leaders stage dharna in support of Surendra Yadav

Gaya, Feb 5 (PTI) RJD leaders staged a dharna here todayin support of incarcerated party MLA Surendra Yadav, whosurrendered before a local court on Friday in connection withfiring at the government hospital here.

RJD Bihar unit president Ramchandra Purve alleged thatthe NBW issued by a local court was issued against the RJDBelaganj MLA before the completion of inquiry by the police.

The party, he said, would raise the issue in the stateassembly during the budget session.

Another RJD leader Ram Kripal Yadav demanded the arrestof the doctors of the Anugrah Narayan Singh MedicalCollege-cum-Hospital (ANMCH) for attacking the kin ofpatients.

Yadav''s security guards had opened fired in the hospitalpremises on Sunday last injuring a couple of doctors which ledto spontaneous strike by medicos throughout the state fromthe next day and called it off after the MLA''s surrenderyesterday.
