Rhino kills forest guard in Kaziranga National Park
Guwahati, Feb 6 (PTI) A female rhino killed a forestguard and seriously injured another at the Kaziranga NationalPark in Assam today, official sources said.
The female rhino and her cub came from behind a bushand attacked the two forest guards when they were patrollingthe Mohkhuti area in Agaratoli range of the Park this evening.
One of the guards was killed on the spot by the female rhino.
The other guard was seriously injured, the sourcessaid.
Senior forest officials have rushed to the spot andpatrolling has been stepped up, the sources added.
