Man arrested for stealing cooking oil from a truck
New Delhi, Feb 5 (PTI) A man was arrested here while awoman shopkeeper is on the run in connection with the theftof 4,000 litres of vegetable oil from a truck, police saidtoday.
The arrested has been identified as Mahesh Gupta. Thewoman Madhu is absconding.
"Gupta confessed that he had stolen tins and packetsof vegetable oil with the help of Madhu," V Renganathan,Deputy Commissioner of Police (West), said.
Police have recovered the stolen oil.
The driver of the truck had parked the vehicle infront of a factory and had gone to have breakfast when the oilpackets were stolen.
