Four minors arrested for shop burglaries

New Delhi, Feb 5 (PTI) Four minor boys allegedlyinvolved in cases of shop burglaries were arrested today inwest Delhi, police said today.

The boys were apprehended from Janakpuri early thismorning while they were travelling in an autorickshaw.

"After seeing the policemen, two boys got down fromthe auto and tried to flee. Police chased and apprehendedthem. A large quantity of coins and stolen money was recoveredfrom them," a senior police official said.

"The gang comprises of four members and aneunuch is its leader. He usually remains in female getup togive the impression of a family and dodge the police," theofficial said.

They told the police they were involved in at leastfour cases of burglaries in shops at Delhi Cantt, Dabri andSagar Pur.
