Brick kiln worker found dead

Mainpuri, Feb 5 (PTI) A brick kiln labourer allegedlycommitted suicide by consuming poison at village Ismailpurunder Barnahal police station area after failing to repay hisdebt.

A purported suicide note recovered from his pocket statedthat he was beaten up and insulted by one Premvir Yadav ofvillage Nagla Fulsahai from whom he had taken the loan.

On the directions of the Superintendent of Police HappyGuptan, an FIR has been lodged and the dead body has beensent for postmortem. No arrest has so far been made.

The note further said that on Friday evening when hewas returning from brick kiln he was intercepted by Yadav whobeat him and insulted him for non-payment of the balance.

He said he could not bear the insult and hence wascommitting suicide.

Station Officer Barnahal said the suicide note is in twodifferent hand writings and its authenticity has to beexamined before taking any action.
