Three held for accepting bets on Pak-NZ match
Indore (MP), Feb 4 (PTI) Three bookies were arrested foraccepting bets to the tune of Rs one crore on today''s one-dayinternational, played between Pakistan and New Zealand inAuckland, police said.
On a tip off, crime branch today raided a flat in VijayNagar area and caught the trio--Puneet Khandelwal, GauravKhandelwal and Jagdish Malani--who were allegedly running abetting racket here.
About 73 chits, having details of Rs one crore bets, 16cell phones, two TV sets, a laptop, recorder and calculatorused in running the racket were also seized, police said. PTIHWP LALDK
