Six stone pelters held
Srinagar, Feb 5 (PTI) Six youths have been arrestedfor their alleged involvement in stone-pelting incidentsduring the summer unrest in Baramulla district last year,police said today.
The six youths have been identified as Farooq AhmadSheikh, Mohammad Akram Dar, Mohammad Sharief Bhat, Javid AhamdBhat, Mushtaq Ahmad Khan and Reyaz Ahmad Dar, a policespokesman said.
All the arrests were made in Kreeri area and itsadjoining villages in Pattan area, 31 kms from here, ofBaramulla district, he said.
The six alleged stone pelters were evading arrestsince long and are responsible for law and order problems inKreeri area, the spokesman said.
