Jammu, Feb 4 (PTI) Jammu and Kashmir Police today sealedthe house of one person who is absconding for the past sevenyears in connection with a murder case in Jammu district.
A police team led by Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM)Ashok Sharma and Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) MushtaqChoudhary sealed the house of absconder Sanjay Sharma aliasNitu at Akhnoor area of Jammu district today, official sourcessaid.
Nitu was allegedly involved in the murder of JagdevSingh alias Jeeba and is absconding, they said.
His family members alleged that the police are trying toframe him in the murder which took place in 2004 in which fivepersons, including three members of the family of a topbusinessman Raju Chopra, were murdered at their residence.
Nitu''s wife Mohini Sharma told reporters that they havebeen "tortured" by the police and demanded a CBI probeinto the entire episode.
