Mercury rises in Rajasthan
Jaipur, Feb 5 (PTI) With the movement of a westerndisturbance, mercury continued to rise in parts of Rajasthanwhere the minimum temperature rose to 9.3 degree celsius inPilani, Met dept said today.
While Dabok and Chittorgarh recorded a night temperatureof 9.4 and 10.2 degree C respectively, Sriganganagar and statecapital Jaipur recorded a minimum of 11.8 and 12.1 degreecelsius respectively.
Jodhpur recorded a minmum of 12.3 deg C while Churu andBarmer recorded minimum of 12.5 and 13.4 degree celsiusrespectively.
Mercury also rose by some notches in other places of thestate with Kota, Jalore, Ajmer and Banswara recording nighttemperatures in the range of 14.2 degree celsius to 16 degreecelsius.
Meanwhile, the Met dept has said similar weatherconditions would prevail for the next 48 hours.
