Man held for murder
Bangalore,Feb 5 (PTI) A 37-year-old man was arrested hereon charges of murdering a woman, police said today.
The accused, Shivalingegowda, employed as a driver with atravel agency, was arrested yesterday for the murder ofSukanya, a native of Tamil Nadu on Feb One, a policestatement said.
Shivalingegowda, a married man used to visit Tamil Naduoften and fell in love with Sukanya who ran a tea-shop atNagercoil,it said.
He brought her to his house here resulting in frequentquarrels between him and his wife. Following this, Sukanyapleaded with him to take her back to her native place.
On the pretext of taking her back to Nagercoil, he tookSukanya to a deserted place, murdered her and decamped withthe valuables she was wearing,police said.
