Court Hammer
New Delhi, Feb 5: A Delhi court on Saturday, Feb 5 issued notice to CBI, asking it to file a detailed report on whether its investigation in the 2G spectrum case covers the aspect of national security as raised by the Janata party chief Subramanian Swamy. Swamy also asked the court to co-accuse Tamil Nadu chief Minister M Karunanidhi in 2G spectrum scam case.

Earlier, Swamy moved court seeking A Raja's prosecution and claimed that 2G scam also relates to national security.

According to Swamy, A Raja favored few companies and of that two companies were real estate companies that have no telecom businesses and therefore not entitled to get licenses. Later, both the companies sold their licenses to foreign companies. These two foreign companies according to Home Minister are ISI controlled. He said that one of the board members is said to be an associate of Dawood Ibrahim.

Considering Swamy's claim, the Special CBI Judge Pradeep Chaddah said, "Issue notice to the CBI to file its detailed report of the investigation being carried out by it and whether it covers the aspect of national security as raised by Subramanian Swamy in the present case."

Swamy, meanwhile, is all set to move a fresh complaint in court seeking to co-accuse DMK supremo Karunanidhi in 2G spectrum scam case. He claimed that Karunanidhi's family have been direct and indirect beneficiaries in this case.
