TN''s interim budget tomorrow

Chennai,Feb 4 (PTI) The interim budget of the Tamil Nadugovernment will be presented here tomorrow by Finance MinisterK Anbazhagan.

Anbazhagan is scheduled to present the DMK government''slast budget in its current term as the state heads forAssembly polls due in May.

The House, which met here today, was adjourned for the dayafter paying homage to Chengam MLA, Polur M Varadan, who diedlast week.

Speaker R Avudiyappan moved a resolution and the Houseobserved two minutes'' silence in respect of the departedCongress MLA.

Later, speaking to reporters after chairing the BusinessAdvisory Committee meeting, Avudaiyappan said the BudgetSession will be on till February 10.

General discussion will be held on the Budget from Feb 7and the reply on February 10, he said.
