Telangana political JAC to launch "non-cooperation movement"

Hyderabad, Feb 4 (PTI) Intensifying their agitation,pro-Telangana TRS, BJP and other organisations would launch a"non-cooperation movement" for achieving the separatestatehood goal from the second week of this month.

Leaders of the parties, under the auspices of theTelangana political Joint Action Committee (JAC), would meetAndhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy tomorrow andconvey to him their decision to undertake the"non-cooperation".

TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao today said that thenon-cooperation agitation would be launched from the secondweek of this month to press the Centre for taking steps forformation of separate Telangana immediately.

"The non-cooperation movement would be started from thesecond week of February. The whole government employees inTelangana are going to participate. Buses, trains, offices,courts, colleges and others are not going to function. It willbe a peaceful agitation in Gandhian way. God only knows howlong it will continue," TRS president K Chandrasekhar Raosaid.

The Telangana government employees unions have alreadyannounced their decision to start the non-cooperationagitation from February 17.
