Dell Venue launched: Specs, Review & Price

Mumbai, Feb 4: US based electronics manufacturing company famous for its computers and laptops, Dell has officially launched new Android based smartphone Dell Venue in India with an attractive price tag of Rs 29,990.

Dell aims to increase their market share in India, which is considered as one of the largest handset market in the world. Currently, along with its desktops and laptops, Dell has XCD 28 and XCD 35 mobiles and Dell Streak tablet in Indian market. Dell Venue will compete with other smartphones from famous brands like HTC, Nokia, Samsung, LG and Sony Ericsson.

Dell Venue runs on Android 2.2 Froyo operating system and is powered with 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD 8250 processor, that makes it a powerful and fast smartphone suitable to work all multimedia apps and office docs. Dell Venue boasts a massive 4.1-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with Gorilla Glass Technology.

This smartphone provides an 8 megapixel camera at rear with LED flash and is capable of recording 720p HD videos. It gives an internal memory of 1GB that can be extended upto 32 GB using micro SD cards.

The official price of Dell Venue in India is Rs 29,990, but the online shopping website Flipkart listed this mobile with a price tag of Rs 28,499.
