Small sugar softens on weak demand

Mumbai, Feb 4 (PTI) Small sugar prices eased further inan otherwise steady Vashi Wholesale market here today onsluggish demand from retailers amidst good supplies.

Meanwhile, medium sugar variety closed stable in theabsence of necessary buying support.

Small sugar quality (S-30) edged down by Rs five perquintal to Rs 2,831/2,871 from its overnight closing level ofRs 2,836/2,871.

Medium sugar quality (M-30) were unaltered at Rs 2,862/2,951 per quintal.

Small sugar (S-30) quality Rs 2,831/2,871 (Rs 2,836/2,871) and medium sugar (M-30) quality Rs 2,862/2,951(Rs 2,862/2,951).
