Sensex down 291 points at mid-session
Mumbai, Feb 4 (PTI) The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmarkSensex was down by over 291 points at 1300 hours today,dragged down by profit-booking in realty and IT stocks.
The Sensex, which had declined by 58.35 points to18,390.78 at the onset of the session, was down by 291.54points at 18,157.77 at 1300 hours.
Similarly, the broad-based National Stock Exchange Niftywas down 87.25 points at 5,439.50 at 1300 hours, with stocksof Reliance Industries, ICICI Bank, Infosys Technologies, DLFand Larsen and Toubro accounting for most of the losses.
While Reliance Industries lost Rs 19 to Rs 924.50,Infosys was trading Rs 41.90 lower at Rs 3,073.95.
