Man sentenced to death for killing his five daughters

Sehore, (MP), Feb 4 (PTI) A man was sentenced to death bya local court for brutally killing his five daughters.

District and Sessions Judge, Ved Prakash Sharmayesterday pronounced the sentence to 42-year-old Magan Lalwho had axed his daughters to death last year.

This is the first time in the district when a judgehas awarded capital punishment to a convict.

According to the prosecution, Magan who had eightchildren including five daughters from his two wives, hadkilled all his daughters in native Kaneriya village inIchhawar tehsil here on June 11, 2010.
