Drinking water station inaugurated in RSP

Rourkela, Feb 4 (PTI) To provide purified drinkingwater to the iron and steel zone inside the Rourkela SteelPlant, a drinking water station was inaugurated by theManaging Director of Rourkela Steel Plant S N Sinmh heretoday.

The drinking water station named (Jharia) based onreverse osmosis (RO) water purification is state of the arttechnology for producing pure water as per international andnational standard.

The machine has also ultra-violet (UV) unit with aninstalled capacity of 1000 ltr per hour.

The MD awarded the office assistant of the plate millKedar Majhi who suggested the name Jharia means stream inSadri tribal languate.
