Cuttack police arrest four highway robbers

Cuttack, Feb 3 (PTI) The city police today claimed tohave busted a highway robbery gang after arresting fourpersons in this connection who were operating on NationalHighway-5 between Khurda to Chandikhol in Jajpur district.

�����Police have seized from them a country-made pistol, anaxe, a laptop, six mobile phones, few ATM cards, vanity bagsand wallets, including currency notes worth Rs 1200.

��� The gang comprised of six persons and efforts areon to arrest the remaining two members soon. "The criminalantecedents of the arrested are subject to verification," saidcity DCP A N Sinha.
